Arrival in Costa Rica |

Upon arrival at the SJO Airport you’ll be met by a bilingual Tour Costa Rica representative and taken to the luxurious Grano de Oro Hotel in downtown San José. San José offers numerous cultural attractions, local and international restaurants, souvenir shopping, and sightseeing opportunities.

Day 2
Transfer to Golfito/Golfo Dulce – Leisure |

You will have an early morning pick-up and transfer to the airport for your in-country flight to Golfito on the south Pacific Coast. Upon arrival, board a waiting passenger boat that will take you up the calm waters of Golfo Dulce (Sweet Gulf)—virtually brimming with bird and marine life—to your 5-star eco lodge is nestled among pristine rainforest and gorgeous beaches.

Day 3
Golfo Dulce – Hiking Through the Rainforest or other tours, and leisure |

Today is perfect for exploring the ecological riches that surround you. Choose from an assortment of guided hikes depending on the difficulty and duration you desire. Day 4
Golfo Dulce – Leisure and relaxation |

Indulge your curiosity and senses exploring all that the romantic Playa Cativo Lodge offers. Kayak or stand-up paddle board in the calm waters in front of the hotel, take a rejuvenating yoga class and indulge in a luxurious spa treatment, or choose from an ecological or cultural tour of the surrounding area and towns.

Day 5
Transfer to Pacuare Lodge – Leisure |

Rise early to catch a local flight to San Jose and ground transfer into the Caribbean lowlands, home of the exquisite jungle paradise, the Pacuare Lodge. The luxurious, eco-lodge sits on the banks of the Pacuare River, voted one of the top 10 most scenic rivers in the world by National Geographic.

Today is another day of leisure and adventure. Enjoy one of the unforgettable experiences included in the Adventure Package, relax and rejuvenate at the Jawa Juü Spa (meaning home of the healer), or immerse your senses in the iconic infinity pool embraced by the sounds and scents of the rainforest. |
Day 8
Transfer to La Fortuna an the Arenal Volcano – River rafting and leisure |

After an exquisite breakfast overlooking the river, get ready for an exhilarating morning of whitewater rafting down the vivacious Pacuare. The adventure takes you over class III-IV rapids, through virgin rainforests, monumental canyons with delicate waterfalls, and quaint rural villages and farms. Ground transfer to La Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano.

Transfer to San José – Departure from the Juan Santamaria International Airport |

After enjoying a final breakfast overlooking the volcano, your Tour Costa Rica driver will take you through the country’s fertile lowland countryside en route to the Central Valley and the SJO International Airport. The approximate driving time is three hours. Arrive refreshed and rejuvenated, ready for your flight home.
