Day 1
Arrival in Costa Rica – Upala and leisure		   Upon arrival at the Liberia International Airport you’ll be met by a Tour Costa Rica representative and transferred in an air-conditioned minibus into the verdant northern mountains of Upala and your exquisite accommodations. Origins Luxury Lodge is an experience in itself, where the natural world is captured in refined elegance.

 
Day 2
Upala – Leisure 		  Wake to a gourmet breakfast prepared by Origin’s expert chefs before discovering everything the estate has to offer. From a therapeutic spa, to extensive organic gardens, horseback riding stables, fishing ponds, rare honey bees, and a breathtaking horizon pool – the Origins Lodge will keep you fascinated.

 
Day 3
Transfer to Rincón de la Vieja – Leisure		   After a relaxing morning in the dazzling Upala highlands it’s time to set out for the remarkable Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, located in central mountains of Guanacaste Province. Soak in the beautifully landscaped hot springs, indulge in a therapeutic spa treatment, or explore the resorts gardens.

 
Day 4
Rincón de la Vieja – National Park and leisure		   After a traditional Costa Rican breakfast, don your walking gear, binoculars, and camera and head into the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano National Park. The expedition will lead you deep into delicate ecosystems created by the mountain’s geothermal activity. Exotic wildlife and rare plants, waterfalls, and amazing bubbling mud lagoons await.

 
Day 5
Transfer to Playa Panama – Leisure		   Wake to cool breezes and bird song outside your bungalow door. Today, Tour Costa Rica will take you westward to Playa Panama Beach on the ruggedly beautiful northwest Pacific Coast’s secluded and serene Gulf of Papagayo. Enjoy gorgeous ocean views, stunning sunsets, and calm waters for swimming.

 
Day 6
Playa Panama – Beach Hopper Tour and leisure		  

Rise ready for sunshine and adventure. Today you’ll explore the “Golden Coast” by boat, home to Costa Rica’s rich and famous. Discover secluded white-sand beaches and hidden reefs for snorkeling. Your tour also includes paddle boards, wave boards, snorkeling equipment, and a delicious lunch and beverages.

Day 7
Playa Panama – Leisure		   Wake to a poolside breakfast scented with tropical breezes rolling off the Pacific. El Mangroove Hotel offers everything you need to enjoy a perfect day on the beach. Start with a private yoga class, then choose from kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, or just sunbathing with a delicious tropical cocktail.

 
Day 8
Transfer to Liberia – Depart Costa Rica		   After a final seaside breakfast, gather your belongings and take the quick 20-minute transfer to the Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia, relaxed and rejuvenated for your flight home.

Rincón de la Vieja – Days 3 & 4

  • 3 Days/2 Nights at the Borinquen Mountain Resort & Spa (or similar) in a Double-Occupancy Standard Bungalow, a-la-carte breakfast, and use of the swimming pool and volcanic treatment areas, including thermal pools, a natural steam room, and volcanic mineral mud.

Panama Beach – Days 5, 6 & 7
