Day 1
Arrival in Costa Rica – Transfer to Rincón de la Vieja |

You’ll be met at the Liberia International Airport by a bilingual Tour Costa Rica Representative and transferred in a private airconditioned van to the world-renowned Rincón de la Vieja Volcano and your resort. The trip will take approximately 1 hour through picturesque rolling countryside.

Day 2
Rincón de la Vieja – Adventure Expedition Tour and leisure |

Wake to a breathtaking landscape brimming with scenic vistas and birdsong. Today you’ll experience the thrill of Costa Rica’s favorite eco-adventures. Horseback ride over rolling grasslands, go tubing through a rushing river below the volcano, fly through the treetops on an exciting zipline, and finally soak in mineral hot springs and mud baths.

Day 3
Transfer to La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano – leisure |

Take an early morning transfer to nearby La Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano, home to stunning scenery and world-class hot springs.

Day 4
La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano - River Rafting Rio Toro and leisure |

Feel the thrill of Rio Toro’s 45 continuous class III and IV rapids as you navigate through pristine canyons and rainforests. This adrenaline-packed adventure takes you into the heart of Costa Rica’s wilderness where your expert guide will point out different exotic birds, reptiles, and animals along the shoreline.

Day 5
La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano – Leisure |

Take the day to explore all the amazing things Arenal has to offer. Learn about Costa Rica’s eruptive geological past and hike through ancient lava fields at Arenal Volcano National Park; walk through the forest canopy on a hanging bridges tour; or relax in bliss in your resort’s hot springs and therapeutic spa.

Day 6
Transfer to Monteverde - Leisure |
|
Your morning will be spent boating across the windswept Arenal Lake as you leave La Fortuna en route to the biologically-rich Monteverde, home of magnificent cloud and rain forests. The Arenal Lake and Damn are an important part of Costa Rica’s dedication to renewable energy.

Day 7
Monteverde - Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve Hike and leisure |

The famous Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is located on the continental divide between the Atlantic and Pacific coasts and is home to exotic wildlife, including hundreds of bird species and the brilliantly-plumed resplendent quetzal. Hike the reserve’s expert trails with a professional naturalist guide through forests of ferns and orchids.

Day 8
Transfer to Liberia – Depart Costa Rica |
|
After a relaxing breakfast overlooking the lodge’s exquisite gardens, you’ll be transferred back to the Liberia Airport for your flight home.
