A prime location tucked away in the greenery and cooled by the Pacific Ocean, Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge is a 170 acre private reserve bordering Corcovado, a national park that includes thirteen separate ecosystems with almost one hundred species of trees and nearly four hundred species of birds. Corcovado has been called "the most biologically intense place on earth" by no less than an authority such as the National Geographic Society. Spanish colonial-style Bungalows are spread around a garden for maximum privacy, this unique lodge has been built in balance with its exuberant green jungle environment and it provides the ideal base for your in-depth rainforest experience. The accommodations at this "Hidden World" are artfully-appointed individual bungalows offering unpretentious comfort, with beautiful stained glass doors and handmade wooden shutters. Access to Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge is only by air, land and water. The adventure begins with one and a half hour ride through the Sierpe River, winding your way through the largest mangrove wetlands system on the Pacific Coast of Central America.
