Latitude 10 is an exclusive beach resort located in Santa Teresa, on the Southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica. This place was formerly a private house, and now the resort offers luxury and elegance in a natural setting, providing interaction with the jungle and its beachfront location. The resort consists of 10 spacious free standing, individually decorated and private casitas situated on over seven acres of private beachfront property located at the bustling beach town of Santa Teresa. They are wooden structures with shades but no windows and there are no locks on the doors and no air conditioning. The bathrooms are completely open-air with large hot water showers and gardens. Master Suites are beachfront and the Junior Suites are completely tucked amongst the native vegetation. The Master Suites integrate their sleeping quarters with a lounge area, table setting for four, a porch and an unforgettable open-sky bathroom. Both Master Suites are equipped with a king size bed, a day bed (twin size), minibar and ceiling fans. An eclectic, early 20th century tropical-colonial atmosphere prevails. The Junior Suites have a unique décor and a special personality, with tropical, arabesque, classical or eclectic themes. Both suites are equipped with queen-sized beds. One of the three Junior Suites, the Premium Junior Suite, is the only Junior with a King Bed and a Day-Bed.
Food is also part of the exclusive experience at Latitude 10, The dinning, bar and lounge area are located in the central clubhouse overlooking the pool, surrounded by a diverse array of tropical native vegetation and with a stunning ocean view. The complementary breakfast offers a selection of fresh fruit and local favorites. Lunchs include freshly tossed salads, sandwiches and quesadillas, but dinner is the highlight of the Latitude 10 Culinary Experience. It should be pre-ordered by noon to ensure the freshest of ingredients and “a la minute” presentation of two different selections of dishes each night. You can choose a secluded romantic spot or enjoy it at the distinctive bar.
