Grettel joined our reservation department in 2003 and early on impressed us with her efficiency, people skills and ability to talk on the phone while performing a dozen other office tasks. “I love what I do; giving our customers the best vacation experience possible is what motivates me. I especially love to receive positive feedback from my customers”. Grettel is married and has a young son and a cat named Momo. In her free time she likes to exercise at the gym.

Hello Grettel –
I just wanted to take a moment to write to thank you and the rest of the staff at Pacuare Lodge. Our recent visit there for our honeymoon was truly one of the most wonderful experiences of our lives. We were awestruck by the beauty of the lodge and the surroundings. We cannot imagine that there is anywhere else on earth that would have been more perfect for us. The staff were consistently outstanding – each and every one we met. Mynor was a wonderful guide and we left Costa Rica feeling as if he was a friend not just a driver. The river rafting was great and Carlitos was an excellent adventure guide!!! The food was delicious and we marveled at everything that was made possible in that remote setting. Finally, the honeymoon bungalow was delightful beyond description. It was a special place we will remember always.
We also enjoyed Latitude 10 and are grateful for your help in arranging our accommodations there as well. But it is Pacuare that we will hold in our hearts until we can return someday.

Wow! What a fantastic vacation, it couldn't have been more perfect. We had a terrific time and fell in love with your beautiful country and all the Costa Ricans that we had the pleasure of meeting. The Pacuare Lodge and the Honeymoon Suite were the highlight of our trip and most certainly, it was the most beautiful eco lodge that we have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly and completely at ease. Mauricio was our main guide and he was terrific! The meals were top notch, the suite superior and excursions, delightful! All our transportation was superb and punctual. The Lost Iguana was delightful, but with the excursions we didn't have time to enjoy their amenities. Really would have liked to have enjoyed their hibiscus maze but just didn't have the time. The Parador was wonderful, dining delightful, the view, awesome. What more can i say, you made our trip one of a lifetime! We will be back and look forward to visiting Corcovado, also, we look forward to sending our son and his girlfriend to the Pacuare Lodge when he graduates from medical school. He lived for 6 months in Puntarenas, with a local family, in a language immersion program, and loved your country and people, as well, so i know that will be a special trip for him.

Hi Grettel,
I just wanted to let you know that me and my new wife were very, very impressed with our whole honeymoon trip. We want to thank you for your help. The vouchers for everything made it very easy and care-free -- we definitely needed that after so much wedding planning and what-not. We are extremely happy with your service. The Pacuare Lodge was beyond anything we could have ever imagined. The only hiccup was the late ride from Monteverde back to San Jose, but that ended up being even better since we had a nice private taxi ride in a Jeep that was better for Michelle's car sickness. Your phone call was much appreciated as well.
We are planning on writing a review of our excellent experience as I had trouble finding out about CRNA experiences beforehand (although I read a lot about how great the Pacuare Lodge in other reviews). Are there any specific travel or review websites that you prefer/recommend we submit our review to?
Thanks again and hopefully we'll be planning another trip back in the future!

I just wanted to write a very quick note to tell you how impressed we were with EVERYTHING at Pacuare. What a fabulous place! The guides, accommodations (oh my god... The Linda Suites was stunning) and gourmet food were far beyond anything we expected. The entire group is still taking about it and how much we hated to leave. I will send you a more detailed review when I get back to my office.

I want to thank you and everyone we met with Aventuras Naturales for a wonderful trip to your country. Our guides, the staff at the lodge and the other agencies you used to make this a memorable anniversary were outstanding - each and every one.
This I hope will be the first of many trips to Costa Rica. I will be working hard on my Spanish so that I may more completely experience the wonderful people and culture next time. I cannot say enough good things, and I think we owe it to you for setting up such a good itinerary.

I am sorry for the late email, but I wanted to thank you very much for organizing our trip to Costa Rica. We had a really wonderful time and can’t wait to come back.
You did a really good job in the variety of the places and the activities. We had no real complaints. Tortuguero was excellent. Pacuare Lodge and the rafting were out of this world. My sons did not want to leave Pacuare Lodge. Arenal and the hot springs were a good experience. Unfortunately, we did not really get a chance to enjoy the resort because we went mountain biking and then went on the tour and the hot springs. Monteverde was also very good, with the ziplining as a good activity. Finally, the Riu was a great way to relax and enjoy the rest of our time in Costa Rica. Oh, I forgot the Don Carlos. Again, very good, with very good service.
So, once again, thank you very much for a wonderful itinerary. Everything worked out really well, including the transportation.

Hi Grettel,
I'm writing to thank you for your help with our vacation to Costa Rica. Everything went exactly as planned. There were no problems and we couldn't be more pleased. We had the best food, met the best people, and had the best vacation ever.
Costa Rica is such an amazing place. Coming from the desert, it took a couple of days at the Pacuare Lodge to convince myself that staying in the river view suite you recommended was not just a dream. Our guide, Edgar "Pitico", was also so much fun to be around. He worked tirelessly to make sure we had something to do at all times during our stay. We can't thank him enough.
The food was incredible everywhere we stayed but especially at the Pacuare. I simply can't believe those meals were real. As a couple, we always requested different menu items and everything was prepared to perfection. It's very impressive that your chefs can prepare such standout meals anywhere, let alone in such a remote area. I've never had better food and to have ice cream in the jungle is quite a treat.
Yesterday, after we arrived back in Tucson, I went shopping for our favorite Costa Rican foods and fruits. We will try to eat like Costa Ricans until we can visit Costa Rica again. Until then, we will continue to recommend your agency (mentioning your name) and the Pacuare Lodge to people we come across, as we did many times in Costa Rica.

Wanted to thank you for arranging such a great trip to Costa Rica for Dawn and I. We had a super time and would change very little (only thing we would not do, the Tabacon Hot Springs tour, since our Hotel had such a nice hot spring) if we did it again. The highlight was the time spent in Pacuare. The lodge and the service were exceptional…we will do that again. Next time we visit we’ll look for other places within Costa Rica that are similar to Pacuare – Eco-friendly, beautiful and exceptional service. We also really enjoyed our time spent with our driver, Mynor Segura . He was extremely helpful and friendly. I hope we get a chance to spend time with him on our next trip to Costa Rica. Thanks again.

Hi, Grettel:
I just wanted to tell you what a GREAT time my wife and I had in Costa Rica this past week! Every detail of the plan and itinerary you put together for us worked to perfection, and the drivers and guides we had were exceptional! Each driver and guide was extremely friendly and each made a real effort to point out and describe all of the natural beauty of Costa Rica. We had absolutely no problems whatsoever, and were treated like royalty wherever we went. I think the highpoints of our vacation were the zip line canopy tour by Arenal Mundo Adventura and the visit to Tabacon Hot Springs - - both were just amazing experiences which my wife and I will remember for a very long time. I have attached a short video clip of me going down one of the zip lines at the waterfall - - what a gorgeous way to get a close-up view of the waterfall! The CD ROM we were able to purchase after our canopy tour (at a very reasonable price!) with pictures and video of us on the zip lines was a real treasure. We will enjoy showing it to all of our friends and relatives. The resort at Tamarindo Diria was beautiful, and we really enjoyed just lying by the beach enjoying the sunshine and beautiful surroundings. It was one of the most relaxing days we have experienced in a long time.
Thank you for your effort in putting this all-too-brief vacation together for us on such short notice! I will recommend you and Tour Costa Rica to others who are traveling to your beautiful country or are looking for a great vacation. Thanks for the experience!!
