December 23

After breakfast, ground transfer to the Manuel Antonio beach area. Approx. driving time 3 hours and 30 minutes. Afternoon free relax at the hotel facilities.  Overnight at the Hotel Si Como No (superior room, breakfast and taxes included).

December 24

Full day in the area, visit the beach, join an optional tour and enjoy the night life. Overnight at the Hotel Si Como No (superior room, breakfast and taxes included).

December 25

Morning tour to the Manuel Antonio National Park. Rest of the day free enjoy the beaches in the park and the surrondings. Overnight at the Hotel Si Como No (superior room, breakfast and taxes included).

December 26

After breakfast, ground transfer to the Monteverde Cloud Forest area. Approx. driving time 4 hours. Afternoon free, optional visit to the private Reserve, the Cheese Factory or the Humming Bird Gallery.  Overnight at the Mirador Lodge (standard room, breakfast and taxes included).

December 27

Morning Canopy Tour . Afternoon Arenal Lake crossing  This service, half tour – half transfer is an scenic, fast and the newest way to go or come from La Fortuna (Arenal Volcano Area), to the Monteverde area. Around 7:30 a.m. we start picking everybody from the hotels in La Fortuna for a 30 minutes microbus drive to the Arenal Lake Dam. There we will aboard into a very comfortable and safe pontoon boat for a 30 to 40 minutes (aprox.) ride to Río Chiquito, a little town at the other side of the lake. Once at Río Chiquito, we’ll leave the boat and make a short break to strength the legs, after, another 1 1 / 2 hour microbus ride to get to the hotels in the Monteverde area, sometimes during the rainy season this transfer could take longer. Includes: microbus & boat transportation and snack at the boat.  Duration: 3 1 / 2 hours aprox.  Overnight at the Hotel Las Cabañitas (jr. suite room, breakfast and taxes included).

Morning free and afternoon Arenal Volcano & Tabacon hot springs tour.  Overnight at the Hotel Las Cabañitas (jr. suite room, breakfast and taxes included).

Early morning ground transfer to the Pacuare White Water Rafting Trip.  Transportation service to our Pacuare River put-in including a typical Costa Rican breakfast in route. Exciting river rafting tour to the Pacuare Lodge where you will enjoy a one night stay at Costa Rica’s premier eco-lodge. Gourmet candlelit dinners, an optional canopy tour and pristine nature views will make this experience one of the highlights of your Costa Rica vacation. Overnight at the Pacuare Lodge. Garden View bungalow. Afternoon Horseback ride to Bajo del Tigre.

In the morning you will depart by raft for an even more fun-filled day of white water rating excitement, including a delicious picnic lunch along the river. At our river take-out you will have a chance to change at our private facilities before being transferred by private minibus back to your hotel. Transfer to your city hotel. Overnight at the Hotel Don Carlos (superior room, breakfast and taxes included).

Hotel Don Carlos

Arenal Volcano and Hotsprings tour at dusk

The Arenal Volcano is active since 1968, it constantly ejects gases, water, fumaroles and explosions with pyroclastic material emissions, and sometimes the eruptions are accompanied with powerful thunders. The tour begins visiting Arenal Volcano at its closest view point... continuing down to Tabacon Resort's famed natural hotspring waters!   At the hot springs you may enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak, while it is also possible to see the Arenal Volcano erupting from a comfortable spa.

Arenal Canopy Tour (Mundo Aventura)

This excursion starts in two different ways; whether it be comfortably seated in an tractor cart, that lasts about 20 minutes, or horse back riding approximately 45 minutes, after we arrive at the observation deck we start a 30 to 45 minute natural history walk where you will see and learn about the tropical ecosystems though one of our specialized guides.

Once you are at the first cable, we start the zip line course using high quality equipment which is constantly checked and renewed to ensure its safety and good condition.
Our cables are located in such a way that they start from platforms at ground level ensuring that if a tree did fall it will not produce any time laps in the tour. The cables, 10 in total, span lengths of 200 meters up to the longest of 800 meters; each cable offers a different sensation and experience crossing canyons, observing waterfalls, over the tops of trees or leaving from a spectacular OBSERVATION TOWER 18 meters high. The Fortuna and Pino Blanco waterfalls, along with the majestic Arenal Volcano accompany us on this trek.
