Tortuga Lodge is situated on the banks of the commanding Tortuguero Canal on Costa Rica’s Atlantic Coast. Accessible only by boat, the lodge is the closest one can get to a full-immersion experience into the wild world of Caribbean rainforests, mangroves, and rugged coastline. Visitors can explore the mysterious canals by boat or kayak and witness an abundance of exotic wildlife such as giant sea turtles that come to the area to lay their eggs in the protected sands every year.
